Even though you may not be required to look for work to be eligible for
unemployment insurance benefits, it is important that you are registered for
work. After answering a few short questions, you will be automatically
registered for work in the Arkansas Job Link (AJL). Confidential information
obtained from processing your unemployment insurance claim will not be released.
You will be asked to provide information to identify yourself and enable
Workforce Center staff to assist with your work search activities. You will also
be asked to answer a security question. The answer to the security question will
be used to reset your AJL password should you decide to use AJL to help find new
employment. If you do not provide this information, your AJL registration cannot
Information in AJL may be shared with Workforce Center partners and other public
agencies to assist with your work search activities. Aggregate (non-identifying)
data may be used in evaluating and improving efforts to conduct outreach to
diverse population groups, including racial and ethnic minorities and persons
with disabilities. Employers approved to use AJL will have access to information
pertinent to your workplace knowledge, skills and abilities; however, you will
be able to limit this type of information via controls available in AJL.
